Unlike most awards ceremonies, the winners of this one are decided by random number generator, the categories are thought up on the fly, and the off-the-cuff speeches are occasionally followed by the "famous sketch" created by a group who have only just met and don't necessarily all fit on the stage. There ARE songs though, just like the Oscars.
