Please note:
- Weblinks have been included for Board Members & associates.
- Listings have been removed for shows that are no longer happening, e.g. Aboriginal Comedy Allstars, Joe Sutherland, Ryan Lane, and Rob Kemp's The Elvis Dead.
- Quite a few shows have been added to Edfringe since the programme was printed, and will likely continue to be; it is worth checking back (their Advanced Search function lets you see recent additions). More are visible on the British Comedy Guide, as that site also includes some Free Fringe and Free Festival shows are not listed on Edfringe at all.
- The Book Festival shows - some of which will be live-streamed - are listed on their own website.
- £/PWYW means you can either buy tickets to secure seats, or Pay What You Want on exit. A £ sign means tickets must be purchased in advance. PWYW shows are Pay What You Want on exit.
- Pay What You Want (PWYW) shows are unticketed, and will be seated on a first-come first-served basis. For popular free shows it's a good idea to arrive early and queue, or even get a token to secure your entry.
- Most performers who take donations will have a card reader as well as a keen enthusiasm for cash.
- Some Monkey Barrel shows - like Rose Matafeo's WIP and Ed Gamble's WIP - are already sold out. However! Monkey Barrel keep back 10% of each room's ticket allocation for people who queue up on the day, so it is always worth arriving early, checking with doorstaff and getting in the right line.
- Most shows do not allow late-comers. ACMS does, provided there's space.
- A show listed as 00:05 Aug 4 (Fri) starts laaate evening on Friday. This is true of listings here, on Edfringe, on the venues' websites, and in the printed programme. Double-check about show dates in the Edfringe app, as they don't seem to follow this convention.
